Chester Zoo

With over 7,000 animals and 400 different species along with a million visitors a year Chester Zoo is an outstanding all year round attraction for the family. In 2007 Chester Zoo opened a new enclosure for it's Bornean and Sumatran orang-utans called ''Realm of the Red Ape''. Getting to Chester Zoo by train is into Chester Main Line Station which is served by 4 major rail companies and then a short taxi ride to the zoo or a bus service operates.
