La Plagne is the ski resort for the village of Aime, Aime la Plagne is the TGV train station that serves the town and resorts of La Plagne.  Getting the train to the La Plagne ski resort is easy, prices start from as little as £149 return per person from London St Pancras train station, with journey times starting at around 8 hours.

The modern La Plagne ski resort together with the neighbouring Les Arcs resort make up the Paradiski ski area.  The six high altitude resorts are all linked via a free shuttle bus service.

The Aime-la-Plagne ski faces the famous Mont Blanc, the largest peak in the entire French and Italian Alps.  The region is a popular winter ski resort as well as a popular summer destination, especially for water sports, hiking, horse-riding and leisurely walks around the stunning mountain and lake scenery.

URBAN PLAGNE
Summer Urban Plagne is so popular that they have now launched a Winter Urban Plagne, where the exciting summer activities have been converted to winter counterparts: events and competitions include wake boarding or wake snow and BMX or snow skoot.  Summer Urban Plagne is held in August and Winter Urban Plagne is held over March and April.

PLAGN’ ARCTIC
Plagn’ Arctic is an event held at the popular ski resort in January that celebrates polar culture and Nordic way of life, events include: igloo building, dog sledging, snow fights, and snow tours.
